Dr Zoe Wyatt-Potage

Dr Zoe Wyatt-Potage is a registered (AASW) Mental Health Social Worker originally from Melbourne, Australia. Dr Zoe has been in the psychological wellbeing space for over a decade, with a trauma-informed focus. Currently based in Cairns, Queensland, after a decade abroad, mainly in Mauritius and Southeast Asia, Dr Zoe worked as a trauma therapist and consultant in Thailand, whilst completing her Doctoral research in Cambodia. Her PhD topic was trauma and resilience, as she continues to work globally as a clinical consultant.

Experience

In recent years Dr Zoe has developed numerous programs on trauma, resilience, positive psychology, communication, management and psychological wellbeing. This built on her previous experience working with an international Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) which focused on delivering psychological wellbeing programs. 

Dr Zoe also has extensive experience working with groups  and individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds, adapting the delivery method based on client requirements. Her current clients include organizations from the Fortune 500 such as healthcare providers, universities, NGO’s, manufacturing, IT, and finance companies.

Living in South-East Asia for five years before moving to Mauritius in 2020, Dr Zoe worked as a trauma therapist, and is still involved in a consultation capacity with a trauma treatment program in Thailand. During her time in Asia, she completed her PhD in the area of Trauma and Resilience, which was based in Cambodia. Additionally, she developed trauma programs for NGOs working in the Child Protection space in Myanmar.
